ANTARIS Health Care Holding GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Profunda Vermögen GmbH, based in Hamburg. It specialises in investments in the European healthcare market.
Operating under several brands, ANTARIS holds interests in care centres, residential complexes, retirement homes, and other healthcare facilities. Currently, ANTARIS focuses on operators in Germany, Austria, and Ireland. With 43 facilities and over 4,000 employees, ANTARIS provides more than 5,000 healthcare and nursing care places, generating an annual turnover of approximately €260 million.
In the coming years, the company aims to expand its portfolio of operating companies, supporting them through synergy creation and financial engineering.

Current Investments
Since 2023, AMICALIS in Freundschaft Leben has been part of ANTARIS Health Care Holding GmbH. AMICALIS operates 18 facilities in Germany, acquired during the 2023 healthcare and nursing crisis from the insolvencies of Convivo and Dorea. Following extensive modernisation and refurbishment in 2024/2025, these facilities will offer state-of-the-art infrastructure and high-quality care services, reflecting the motto “Living in Friendship.”
ANTARIS Health Care Group, in partnership with property lessors, is investing over €25 million in modernising AMICALIS facilities during 2024 and 2025.
AMICALIS Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of ANTARIS Health Care Holding GmbH, manages Austrian social enterprises. Supported by the Vienna Social Fund, Seniorenzentrum Hoffmannpark offers 178 places for general care and support on the outskirts of Vienna, surrounded by the scenic Vienna Woods. This Art Nouveau building, designed by Josef Hoffmann, is a protected architectural landmark, complemented by modern annexes and a cosy café. The centre’s warmth, family-like environment, diverse activities, and rich culinary offerings are well known.
Since 1982, HANSA has operated numerous senior facilities across northern and central Germany, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for the elderly. HANSA maintains residents’ independence, whether they need home support, assisted living, or nursing care. Senior-friendly infrastructure and carefully chosen locations distinguish HANSA’s facilities.
